Tohatsu is introducing the new model in 2009 the M25C3 JET DRIVE outboard motor. The intention is to provide a perfect choice for navigating small boats in shallow water, white-water rapids, over sand bars, shoals, etc...

How does it work ??
Water is drawn into the jet pump through an intake grill by impeller driven directly by the engine driveshaft. This water is then forced at high pressure and volume through a nozzle directed astern of the boat. The velocity imparted to this mass of water creates an opposite force, and drives the boat forward.
