Additives, Fuel : EVINRUDE/JOHNSON

EVINRUDE-JOHNSON 2+4 Fuel Conditioner, Carbon Guard for 2-cycle and 4-cycle marine engines, and Fuel Systems Cleaner.

Use 2+4 Fuel Conditioner in particularly during periods of engine non-use. Gasoline, as purchased at the pump, has a guaranteed shelf life of three months. With 2+4 Fuel Conditioner, it extends the useful life of fuel in a number of ways. It contains :
1. Metal deactivators- to render brass or copper alloy chemically inactive toward gasoline.
2. Anti-Oxidants - to slow the chemical breakdown of gasoline.
3. Double strength - treats more fuel per ounce.
4. Corrosion inhibitors - to help reduce long term corrosion of metal fuel system components.

Carbon Guard is a gasoline additive formulated to minimize carbon deposit build-up in 2-cycle and 4-cycle marine engines when used as diercted. Its additive will provide :
1. Reduced possibility of piston ring sticking.
2. Reduced carbon build-up on 4-cycle intake valves.
3. Better overall engine performance.
4. Increased engine life.

Fuel Systems Cleaner : When fuel injector or carburetor is malfunctioning due to deposits, Fuel System Cleaners should be used to treat it.
